Yassine SKANDRANI (Tunisia). After university studies at the National Agronomic Institute of Tunis, in Production and Aquatic Ecosystems, Yassine became a Teacher-Researcher at the Institute of Fisheries and Aquaculture of Bizerte (Tunisia). He has been coordinator and consultant of several studies, projects and organizer of seminars and workshops at national, north african, mediterranean and africa in the field of small-scale fisheries. He is the founder of the Tunisian Association for the Development of Artisanal Fisheries and the association Club Bleu Artisanal. He is a member of the coordination committee of the World Forum of fisher peoples and Workers of the Fisheries (WFF, 2012/2020) a director of the association SMART (SMall-scale / ARTisanal), and secretary-general of the platform in north african artisanal fisheries. Currently, Yassin is an advisor to the minister of agriculture, hydraulic resources and fisheries of Tunisia in charge of fisheries and aquaculture. Yassin is one of the leaders of the Slow Food in Tunis, and among other activities, he helped organize a gathering of small-scale fishing communities with the Slow Food of the countries of North Africa in Bizerte, 2018.
